Join us on Monday nights at 7 at Elim church.
About the Choir
Wings of Glory Community Gospel Choir sings in the joyful Gospel style, uplifting and enriching for all. The group is ethnically diverse, but spiritually united. We rehearse in the traditional Gospel fashion, learning mostly by rote (you don't need to know how to read music).
Wings of Glory is open to everyone who has an interest in singing God's praises. Rehearsals are held each Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the sanctuary of Elim Lutheran Church at 504 Baker Street in Petaluma, California. We take a break in July and August and again in December. Visitors and prospective members are always welcome. There is no audition required. Check the “Singers’ Schedule” page for possible choir vacation days.
We'd like to express our deepest gratitude to Elim Lutheran Church for their support and use of rehearsal space.
Special thanks also go to our director, Adam Ivey, accompanist Smiley Brown, bassist Neil Fontano and percussionist Keith Fontano. Without them, we wouldn’t have a real Gospel Choir.
Directions to Elim:
Take Washington Street exit off 101. Travel west. Pass Petaluma Blvd. Turn left onto Howard (7-ll on your right, Shell station on your left). One block further, turn right on Stanley. The church parking lot is a few blocks up on your right.
"I will sing to the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live."

Wings of Glory is mostly self funded, with voluntary donations from the choir members to pay the director and band. For full concerts, we hope to gather enough from audience donations to fund the musicians, but sometimes we come up short. If you want to help support our mission of Gospel music, we invite you to become a sponsor. For a $300 primary level Sponsorship, we will perform for the charity of your choice. Of course, donations of any amount are always welcome. Contact the webmaster at 707-889-0817 or email@example.com.
Wings of Glory is always
accepting new singers!
All faith backgrounds welcome!
