Wings of Glory Community Gospel Choir sings in the joyful style of Black Gospel music, uplifting and enriching for all. The group is ethnically diverse, but spiritually united. We rehearse in the traditional Gospel fashion, learning mostly by rote (you don't need to know how to read music).

Wings of Glory is open to all people who have an interest in singing God's praises. Rehearsals are held each Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the sanctuary of Elim Lutheran Church at 504 Baker Street in Petaluma, California. We take a break in August. Visitors and prospective members are always welcome. There is no audition required. Check the “Singers’ Schedule” page for possible choir vacation days.

We have a CD available for purchase ($15). It's called "We're On the Lord's Side", recorded in January 2007 at Elim, and contains our greatest hits. Call for details (see contact information).

We'd like to express our deepest gratitude to Elim Lutheran Church for their support and use of rehearsal space. Special thanks also go to our accompanists Frank Wyatt and Smiley Brown. Without them, we wouldn’t have a Gospel Choir.
